If you’ve been on social media recently, or watched any reality stars being interviewed, then you can’t have avoided hearing the phrase ‘Turkey teeth’. Well, let us assure you it has nothing to do with the upcoming festive period, and in no way refers to smiling poultry. It refers to a trend made popular, mostly on Instagram, of going abroad to have a full set of veneers and a dazzling white smile. Quite often the results can look unnaturally large and bright, and evidently quite false looking.
This is a treatment that we cannot understand as it needlessly means filing down and potentially damaging otherwise healthy teeth.
